An email from my lawyer in CA...
Hi Ms. Dunn: We appeared this morning on your case, and the court went ahead and recalled and discharged the bench warrant and reinstated your probation. The next step is to get that probation terminated and the case dismissed and expunged. We go back to court for that purpose on May 21, 2008.
The court was willing to recall the bench warrant without you being personally present based on my verbal representations to the court. When it comes to the next phase, it's more important that we get as much documentation as possible. We have the school transcript you sent and that's great. But, the more paper we can present to the court showing your rehabilitation and your activities (School, employment, volunteering, etc.) the easier it's going to be for the court to do what we want. So your "homework" is to start brainstorming and collecting documents and getting them to us ASAP.
I'm not sure what else I can give them. I can make copies of my diplomas. Possibly a letter from my boss/mom?? Can anyone think of anything that may help me out with this?
