Anything by Haruki Murakami, but I especially recommend Hard-Boiled Wonderland And The End of the World and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle
Anything by Bret Easton Ellis, especially American Psycho
The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher
The Dark Tower series by Stephen King
Let The Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist
Best movies I've seen this year: (500) Days of Summer, 9, Bronson, The Brothers Bloom, District 9, Inglourious Basterds, Ninja Assassin, Ponyo, Star Trek, Taken, Up, Watchmen, and Zombieland.
I already posted something on my livejournal about it, but seriously, it's astonishing how beautiful it is. Then you remind yourself this is a translation and something got lost and then it's scary how beautiful it must sound in its native Hungarian.
It's a short book - 213 pages - and a page-turner. You could probably finish it in a week.

My pleasure, helping folks find new entertainment that they enjoy is my one great passion in life.
