(no subject)
Two things that are probably worth mentioning:
1) Through some stroke of luck, my dad has managed to arrange for me to take a three week vacation from work and go to India with my mother and sister. I haven't been back to India since my family moved here when I was a baby, so it'll be an extremely interesting experience, I'm sure. We've planned to travel a lot, so I'll see the Taj Mahal and other exciting tourist-y places and we'll be attending the wedding of my....second cousin? I think. Plus, three weeks off work! :D Miraculously, I should still be able to attend Dexcon despite this trip, which is happening in June. I'll just have to cut things a little close, meeting with everybody after work on the Friday and taking Monday off (Maybe coming in a little late on Tuesday, too, because - well, really. I'll obviously be dead at that point.)
2) I got my acceptance letter from the University of Toronto last night! So now it is simply a matter of choosing between UofT and York - the only two schools I applied to. I'll give it some time, though I am leaning towards UofT right now.
Also, Happy Administrative Professionals Day! Our lovely head of HR gave me a double chocolate croissant this morning - which coincidentally, she picked up from the same bakery deathpixie was working at a while ago. I've managed to cover my desk (and myself) with a fine layer of icing sugar while consuming said croissant.
