For my final paper in my spirituality class, I talked about the reasons why I work at SAPAC. I'm not sure I actually found the reasons why I do what I do, but I took some time (8 pages) to talk about the possibilities.
Today was our last day of class. We went to the Arb and thanked each other for sharing and listening. It was amazing. I've never taken a class like this.
After it was over, I approached my professor. He hugged me, and said that he had read my final paper. He told me that he wanted me to know that he understands that the work I do is difficult, and that he is behind me the whole way.
I have never had anyone say this to me before. I just wanted to write about how much I appreciate it.
