(no subject)
so, where has the sun gone? one is not impressed!
have had a nice few days. been out in the garden getting all nice and brown on my new lounger. k and emo were over the other night for tea and wee jacs was over last night.
so, i bought a couple of blinds one for the side window in thelounge and one for the kitchen. silly me though... they are see through. my lovely neighbour Jay fitted them for me :-) hut the see through thing isn;t a big deal as i bought this opaque film that you can put over glass so people can't see through. i put it up on my wee side windows and half of my kitchen window. i did a bloody good job actually, it looks great. alas my camera is being naughty and i can not take pics to show you all my DIY wonderfulness.
on sunday i will head up to tighnabruaich with the parents. they are there for two weeks and i will come and go as i please. my babies are being looked after by the jack and lady bevlington. first time up there in 9 years without a bf, how bizarre! blahhhhhhhhhhh...
anyhoooo, i think i will head up to the avenue to do some clothes shopping, or maybe just the azda down the road. i just want a couple of cheap skirts and vest tops. allan may come over later to help take my kitchen storage cupboard door off. i wish to replace it with a bamboo roller blind so that i can put the cat litter tray in there and they can get in and out at the bottom. i was good and emptied the cupboard last night.. i appear to have accumulated a great deal of empty boxes, hmmm.
anyhooo, other DIY things will have to wait until i get back. i am hoping to replace the kitchen as it is a bit rubbish!reckon i could do it easily for under £2000 and in the long run it will add value to the flat and, um, look prettty and therefore make me happy! then the bathroom needs tiled. ah, so many things i wish to do! but i may as well do them when i am on holiday.
so, later on today i have my annual-ish lady sexual health check. i get these done every now and then just to be sure. i have been a good girl and been careful but i think it's wise to always get checked out especially since so many things have no symtoms. maybe after this one i shall never have sex again, become celibate until i meet the man i wish to marry. or rather, until i meet a man who would marry me! where are they by the way... not exactly banging on my door. bastards! at least i get lots of love from my cats.
i shall go to mum and dad's for dinner and then go to le pub to meet jacs and her sister. one of my sister and her husbands pals is staying with mum and dad tonight before he gets a flight tomorrow. i shall make him come out also :-)
oooo, also someone has fallen out with me! i am not used to this and shall tell more later when i can be arsed.
