So I made a phone post last week that was all "OMG LIGHTING WTF LET ME DIE" and I'm not sure if anyone heard it (except apparently my dad did, because he called me the other day to see if I was okay). So I'm a lot more on top of that now. I have a good deal left to do (AKA "Colors? I need to know colors?"), but I got a lot done this weekend and tonight, and now it's just the stuff that's actually important. So we'll see what happens!
Okay. So. I forgot to mention something about when I went back to the funeral. I'm not sure when? But I'm probably going to a gay (lesbian) marriage some time in the near future! I think it happened shortly before the funeral, but my dad's cousin Liz is engaged. And I just remembered that yesterday. But that's really freaking exciting! Don't you think? I sure think so. Mmm.
Not a whole lot else going on. School's fine. Life's not too shabby. The a capella concert was wicked pissa, as I might say if I were from Southie. I bought the new AOTA disc, which was a stellar time. Oh. And. I recently downloaded the last two installments of the NPR podcast "All Songs Considered" and am annoyed for not subscribing to it sooner! The last two installments were "Weird Al" Yankovic talking about his musical influences, which was really interesting and funny, and the guy talking about and playing music by Tom Waits, Damien Rice, and artists I'd never heard before like Lily Allen and the Hold Steady, all of which were very cool. So if you like music, podcasts, and NPR (and I know you all do), you should check it out (even if you hate Tom Waits)!
That's all for me. Power to the people.
