So you're scared and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young any more

So for the first time since I first got this crazy Livejournal, I actually celebrated Halloween!

That's right. I went there. Or...I dressed up for Halloween? And it was awesome? Except for when 80% of Asbury thought I was some sort of pirate accountant. Those bitches. Not really.

So way back on Friday, I went with the Alliance to my first ever showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and it was pretty crazy. I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing or paying attention to or anything for most of it, but the cast was very enthused and I chilled with awesome freshmen and during the virgin ceremony I was pared with this guy who just kept repeating "You people are sick!" over the least little thing. Umm...what was he expecting? For reals? So it was not something I would do every week, but it was certainly worth my while!

On Sunday was, of course, Anne's funeral. I don't really know what to say about it...it was the first funeral I've been to since my grandfather died in 1993, so it was essentially my first funeral. It was a lovely service, and it was amazing to be reminded how much of an impact she made on her community. I'm still not sure whether I'm at peace with it or whether on some level I don't quite fully comprehend it (probably a little bit of column A, a little of column B).

What else? I can't think of anything really. But I don't want to leave on a depressing note (especially as I don't update that often). So!

Voila!
