Question about books--serious business!

Okay. So you know how when you're reading a novel, a lot of the time you have mental images that stand in for the actual characters--either their appearance or their speaking voice or their persona? I'm randomly interested in yours. For some reason, I can only think of a few of them, and they're all from two distinct series, but here they are.

From Harry Potter Dumbledore has the voice of Deckard Cain, the old wizardy guy from the original Diablo; similarly, Hagrid was voiced by Griswold, the villiage blacksmith.

Luna Lovegood is, of course, Ginia Sweeney (who I'm chilling with tomorrow!)

From The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Marvin was always Bender--even though I have never for the life of me seen an episode of Futurama.

Also, because he had two heads, Zaphod will always resemble the ogres from Warcraft 2.

Let's all just take a moment to let how completely absurd that last one is sink in.

Actually, how absurd this whole post was. But? Does anyone have any similar things?

questions, books, nerdiness, pictures
