You didn't hear about the polar bear?

I am completely enthralled by Lost. I am on the third disc of the first season and it is superb television. It is to drama what Arrested Development is to comedy--a show so original and dynamic and compelling that after two or three episodes are enough to set it apart from almost anything that came before. It's just remarkable how the show works, interweaving ten different back stories seamlessly with the otherworldy terrifying events on the island. An excellent cast, a killer eye for suspense, very good writing--and what the hell is up with Lock? Seriously? What great characters, seriously. And Emilie de Ravin is really freaking attractive.

Am I wrong? I said, Am I wrong? Hurrah for really attractive castaways!

Also, I have an announcement to make. By the time I turn 30 (most likely well before, but I don't want to rush myself), I will have completed a marathon. I think that this is a pretty feasible goal, and a good thing to work towards. But, you know, probably not for a while.

ETA: I just noticed how ironic my tags for this entry are. Pretty crazy!
