I've been listening to Oldies recently. So...name them.
1. Don't you give me no dirty looks. Your father's hip--he knows what cooks.
2. Whoa, whoa, I knew we was falling in love, yes I did and so I told her all the things I'd been dreaming of
3. I can mashed potato, I can do the twist, so tell me baby do you like it like this?
4. A wop-bop-a-loo-mop, a lop-bam-bum
5. And I wonder, wo-wo-wo-wo-wonder, why, wa-wa-wa-wa-why she went away
6. Money don't get everything, it's true. What it don't get, I can't use.
7. Well she wrote me a letter, said she couldn't live without me no more. Listen mister, can't you see I've got to get back to my baby once more?
8. We'll have one more night together before the morning brings my train and I must go--oh no no no! And I don't know if I'm ever coming home
9. I pushed her away, I walked to the door, I fell on the floor, I got down on my knees, I looked at her and she at me.
10. Now he's gone--I don't know why. And to this day, sometimes I cry. He didn't even say goodbye, he didn't take the time to lie.
11. Remember what the dormouse said! Feed your head! Feed your head!
12. A time for peace--I swear it's not too late!
13. Teacher's gonna show you how to get an A.
14. Lonely rivers flow to the sea, to the sea, to the open arms of the sea
15. People say believe of half of what you see, son, and none of what you hear.
16. Well you knew all along that your dad was getting wise to you now, and since he took your set of keys you been thinking that your fun was all through now.
17. People passing by would stop and say "Oh my, but that little country boy can play"
18. Hypnotizing, mesmorizing me, she was everything I'd dream she'd be.
19. This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you.
20. I'm glad that we are different; we've better things to do. May others plan their futures; I'm busy loving you.
How much do I suck for turning down an offer to go to RHPS last night? How much more do I suck for doing verrrry little work last night even while staying in and staying up until five? On the bright side, at lease someone here notices me; that makes up for it. Half the time, it seems like if I wasn't in Odds no one would notice me at all. Of course, if I wasn't in Odds I would never do anything that wasn't schoolwork, so it's mostly my fault I'm sure, and the part that isn't my fault is completely in my head.
Meh. I'm off to rehearsal. After that, I'll stay up way late doing homework. And after that, tech week! Jealous?
