If you don't expect to much from me, you might not be let down.

So weekend. Yes. I had a very good weekend. Marissa came here, though at first she had to leave because she was seeing Ben Folds in Philly (JEALOUS). While she was doing that, I sat around and watched The Fisher King, which was pretty bizarre (but then again, it's directed by Terry Gilliam). It was well-acted, and it was interesting to see a movie about bums, I thought. Then she got back, and it was good. We watched Hotel Rwanda, and I got her addicted to white grape juice (Friday night: "Eh, it's okay"; Sunday morning: "Basil I need white grape juice. Like now. Move it"). We saw Christine's Mad Ave concert, and went to a DP (where I had tastey jello shots as well as some sort of aloe vera drink which I saw and had to try; it was actually good, though I have no idea what health benifits it had (this is a really long parenthesis; sorry)), and I had a good time. Oh, and we had really good sex. Like whoa. Yeah.

I felt bad all weekend though, knowing it was all bittersweet for her, with everyone graduating. So none of you Drew people had better lose touch with Marissa, all right? I'm warning you!

My German exam went pretty well today, for the most part. I think I did well, but I can never tell until I get it back. I think I'm doing well though--that's the class I'm probably worried the least about. Stats, I'm getting a B- in, and I have no idea what I got in Theatre 35; just that I didn't work hard enough on my scenes and did pretty poorly on my Stanislavski paper, so I'm not gonna go find out what my grade is (worst theatre major EVAR). I'm gonna try harder next year, I swears it. This evening I saw The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was good. Not exceptional, but good. I like how they didn't seem to use that much CGI. I think it did a good job of emulating the book, but wasn't enslaved by it, which is good. Should read that again...I have no idea where the first one ends now. Oh, and I loved how in the beginning they used the theme from the original radio broadcast. That was such a good call. Seriously.

Oh, and I recently found out that 36 Madison Avenue played at a concert hosted by noneother than Ball in the House. Yeah. Of course, the sad thing was when I was thinking about it, I realised I couldn't for the life of me remember any of the songs that Ball in the House did. Can you? Oh, and also Aubrey Anderson is gonna be a counselor this year. That's pretty hot.

That's about it.Suffice it to say that I LOOOVE this song. I don't know why, but somehow it personifies all that is good about 90's pop. It's just so catchy and well written (see Subject line). I think I'm gonna go start packing now. Shouldn't take too too long...
