So we were assigned scenes for Theatre 35 today. I've only read one of the two scenes I'm in so far, but it's from "Proof" and it's really good. I'm also in a scene from "Loose Knit" and directing a scene from "Bel Canto" (I haven't really heard of these two). I'm excited to read the plays. I should read more plays. Or I should just read more--I started "A Clockwork Orange" weeks ago but I've read only sixty pages. *shrugs* Also, this guy Edward Allan Baker? Is really good. We read one of his one-acts, "Delores" in 15 last semester, and then they put up "Up Down Strange Charmed Beauty and Truth" last month, and now they're doing part of "North of Providence". Sure, they're all about working-class families with physical and emotional abuse (and they all take place in Providence), but still I like him. Also I'm excited for "The Last Five Years" next week. I know nothing about it, but I've heard it's phenominal. Yes.
