Le Tour D'Owasco
i rode my bike for 32 miles today!
a neighbor of ours organized a fundraising ride around owasco lake, and my dad and i decided to sign up. rather, he decided to do it and raised $300 for the livestrong foundation. i woke up this morning, decided to tag along, and came with the mandatory $10 entry fee. anyway, the ride was great. there were a few big hills, but nothing killer, and owasco lake is very pretty. i did have a flat within a few miles of starting, but unlike the mysterious flats from a couple weekends ago, the cause was clear: i rode over a small piece of glass. oh well. for some reason my spare tube wouldn't inflate, but another rider stopped to help and gave me his tube. it was a beautiful day for the ride: breezy, sunny for parts and overcast for others, and not too hot.
and the best part... i won't feel sore until tomorrow morning!
