i was right / random observations
some of you may remember my post about geeks spending too much time with their computers and online rpgs from this summer... well one of those same people just told me that he'd rather hang out with real people when he's at school and that his game-playing has reduced dramatically. i win! ;)
heh, i'm not really gloating, i'm just fascinated by the difference that a few months makes. for example, i'm a lot less touchy-feely than i was even a few months ago and i blame it on not being on campus very much. rockers really do seem to be more cuddly than everybody else. i think being cuddly is a good thing so i should take steps to correct this situation.
i'm also reminded yet again how many friends i have who cannot stand each other. it's a subject that hasn't come up in a while so i am simply amused right now, but it has caused headaches in the past... actually, not really, just some awkward discussions.
another thing that's making a big difference are the gel insoles i got for my sneakers. my feet are already a lot better, whereas if i'd kept going to work in just my sneakers i probably would be close to not being able to walk a few weeks from now, and i'm not exaggerating. this is such a relief.
