The Christmas Miracle.
What a weekend.
Saturday, we went to a Havoc game. Afterwards, decided on eating. Wanted to eat some nuCLEAR pizza at Big Ed’s. We were scared they’d be closed so I ran in to check, then waved T and G in. As we’re leaving we walk up to XR’s to see who is playing. Then we notice a crowd gathering outside Big Ed’s asking if they have any customer’s. We’re thinking, “hey we just left, what’s going on?” So I walk up and see girl bartender (Can’t remember her name to save my life). Before she even says it, I already have a feeling of what’s about to come…, “You don’t drive a gold Corolla do you?” me, “yes. FUCK! My purse is in there!” See, when I ran in to check if Big Ed’s was open, I didn’t grab my purse, assuming T would snag it. But he didn’t. So we walk up to the car and see the driver’s side back triangular window is busted. Car tank and trunk are open. And then….the X-mas miracle happens….Trevor pulls my untouched purse out from the passenger side!!!!!! Luckily I keep my dome light off and the tinted windows make the interior seriously dark. So the crooks didn’t even see the purse. They were simply looking for x-mas presents. And found none. Whew! Nothing was taken. It surely helped that some XR’s people were watching them. They got some good descriptions on everything. But you know cops, they didn’t even come out. It bothers me that even small stuff like forced entry isn’t bad enough for investigation. I know there where finger prints on the car, but do they get dusted, no. Instead, the cops ask T weird questions like if he’s white, how tall is he and how much does he weigh. What the hell is that going to be used for? Didn’t ask a single question that would help in Actually finding the crooks. Blah….
Anyway, we got the window fixed Saturday, so it’s sort of like it didn’t happen. Everything is back to normal, except I have a window without tint. We need to pick up our report today.
Saturday, our little girl graduated. I’ll have to post pictures when I get home tonight.
Sunday was a good x-mas at the S-house. We all got treated really nicely. Erik is home!!! Julian too.
