I just remembered bits and pieces of my dream last night. Dave Grohl came to meet me and wanted to know all about my obsession with Nirvana at the age of 13. So I tell him and he seems genuinely interested. I think I got him a beer. But then I realize I'm probably acting like an obsessed fan, so I tried to change the topic. Then, like all of you came over and wanted to know who that guy was. Oddly, I wasn't surprised you people didn't recognize him. Two things are sticking out as odd to me right now. One - in real life I would have flipped at the thought of having to tell you who Dave Grohl is. Jesus, everyone should at least recognize the guy :). And TWO - I always introduced him as the drummer for Nirvana, not the lead singer for Foo Fighters. In fact I never even asked him a Foo Fighters or Courtney Love question. I guess I was really trying not to piss him off by asking or talking about the common topics. Just wanted him to feel comfortable. Anyway, I think most of you didn't give a flying fuck to see Dave Grohl at our place. And Trevor only cared b/c I cared. that's something. Dave played with Vega in the dream :).
