4 days off…excellent!
First off, really enjoyed sushi and bowling. Kinda enjoyed the sporadic company too.
Turkey Day was yummy, as always. Both Trevor and I were shocked that we could barley finish a single plate of food. Glad some friends got to talk while watching people “act” fight on the ice.
Friday started way tooo early. Got up at 3:45 to go shopping with my mother-in-law. Had a great time. Got some girly products that make my hair and skin smell good. Got home around 1:30 in the afternoon, took a nap, and then preceded to meld into the couch until 1:00 AM with full delirium. I do not miss those IND all-nighters.
Saturday went to Wall-Mart while slightly hungry. Trev and I ended up spending 3 times our original budget on things like ice cream and video games J. Don’t shop hungry. We really have 4 different ice cream products in our freezer right now.
Sunday started off typical. Kick Trev out of bed to feed the dog 3 hours late and then hop in the shower. While enjoying my new fancy shampoo, I hear Trev trying to tell me something. like…”Christmas came early.” Apparently our neighbored ventured out the day after Thanksgiving and bought himself a 60” TV. So we got to purchase his 37” for next to nothing. The whole morning consisted of disassembling the old entertainment center for all the new stuff. The TV is so big! And looks a lot nicer with our living room. Later on that day we hung up lights on our balcony. Orange and Blue!!!
So I had a really nice holiday. And it actually felt long. I hope everyone else did too.
I also wanted to say that I’m really happy that some of my friends got new jobs in the past week. They totally deserved them. Insurance kicks ass.
