Well, Friday wasn’t exciting. Actually it was foolish and stubborn on both our parts, but the rest of the weekend went really nice. We took Miss Vega to “Walk you Paws.” She’s doing pretty well at being socialized. We just need to get her walking on a leash better. We registered her for obedience classes. 9 AM the next 7 Saturdays, wooo-hooo! Technically, I don’t have to go, but I want to be there, so I don’t miss any of the commands, etc. We missed meeting Vega’s biological mom by 30 minutes. Trev was upset about it. We got some cute pictures of her in Big Springs. I will be sure to post a few in the coming days. She’s gotten so big!
Missed Common Market but gave us an excuse to go to Sagio’s If you’ll haven’t been there you should definitely try it. It’s a little Italian place. With very affordable personal pizzas $4.50. It’d be good to take someone on a date too b/c it’s a neat little restaurant *hint hint*.
Glad we won the Auburn game but not completely impressed with the defense’s playing. But at least we’re #3 now. Yay!
Went bowling with Graham and had a lot of fun. That man can definitely throw a 15lb ball with little effort. I beat him and Trev the first game J. We’ll G and I had the great idea to go to Waffle House afterwards (you know, since Graham is like always hungry). And of course we had the worst waiter EVER! I believe it was 30-40 minutes before the table got bused, 20 more minutes to get our drinks, 20-30 minutes to receive our ICE COLD food. Needless to say it was one of those rare times we did not leave a tip. The guy knew this was going to happen to, so he sneakily added a gratuity to our checks. We had it removed. All 3 of us have waited tables. We know what it’s like to be “in the weeds.” I was willing to let the guy start all over after waiting 30 minutes to be acknowledged, but he sucked!!!! He took our order and it still took 20 minutes from then and reminding him twice that we were thirsty. Anyway, this whole rant boils down to the Madison Waffle House sucks. This was my 3rd bad experience in the past few months. I’m not going there anymore.
Sunday we went out to my dad’s for what was suppose to be a wedding picture party, yet no one had any pictures except me. So I was a little disappointed. But we got to eat fried turkey, and it was very good. Mmmmm….Afterwards we dropped by T’s folks. Found out they’re spending x-mas in Washington with t’s sister. So, this means we don’t have to do anything x-mas morning. I’m looking forward to having a relaxed first Christmas with my husband. And afterwards we’re going to cook our own little dinner. It’ll be fun. Gotta show Trev that a stocking can be the best part of Christmas. My mom was the bomb at making my stocking really cool.
We watched the day after tomorrow (something like that, the new Ice Age movie). I enjoyed it, but it made me have a chill the whole night. It was a very good night.
