School and Everything!
Hey everyone! I have not written in forever and in a few seconds you shall find out why! Labor Day weekend I was supposed to move into college. Technically my move in day was the 5th. On Sunday morning I went to the Cape with friends of the family and my parents. We were only suppose to stay for the day because I had to move in on Monday and I wanted to get there early and all. So on Sunday we went out on our friend’s boat and we had a lot of fun. We get back to their Cape house at like 4:00 and I am thinking that we will probably leave by 5:00 or 6:00. Well it turns out that my parents want to stay the night and they say we will leave in the morning really early. Basically at this moment I am pissed. I hadn’t even started packing yet and they want to stay the night? I didn’t have a lot to pack because a lot of my stuff I had already moved into my dorm but still, I had all my clothes and everything to pack and just little things that I needed. I was filled with frustration for the rest of the day but I tried to make the best of it. Later on in the night my mom decided in her drunken stupor to ask me if I was once again a lesbian in front of all her friends and I felt like such a moron and I wanted to hit her and I told her I hated her and walked away. I went into bed and then she came in and apologized and said she was only kidding. Whatever... We were some how talking about homosexuality but I don't know how we got into it. I am all for gay rights and all but my mom has asked me if I am a lesbian like six times and I am honestly sick of it. I was once again mad but oh well.
I said to my parents that we were leaving at 7:00 am, that didn't happen! I woke up at 6:30 and by the time seven rolled around they were not up. I let them sleep another hour until 8:00 so I woke them up then but we still did not end up leaving until 10:30. I did not get to move in or get to school until like 1:30. Wicked pain in the ass I was pissed. My roommate was already there and I wanted to be there first. I just wanted to be able to pick where I was. Oh well. So my roommate is Amanda and she is really nice and I like her and all that jazz. She is out going which is a change from Michelle but I still like Michelle!!:) Michelle was out going to me haha! lol So I think I should be good YAY!
On Tuesday the 6th I woke up and took a shower then went to lunch. At lunch I had my cell phone with me and I put it on my tray. Me being a smart person I left my cell phone on the tray and it went on the conveyor thingy. I remembered that I had no cell phone like two hours later and went back to the dining hall to see if they had found one. Well they didn't go figure! So I went to another office to see if the lost and found had it and they didn't. Then My Dad came and gave me some of my clothes, food, and a connection for my TV and then we bought my books. After that I went to the IT place because guess what! My internet is broken and I needed to get it fixed. So they fixed my wireless and they had to do a bunch of stuff to it but they did fix it so that is good I suppose. The Ethernet cable connection on the other hand is broken. It is blown to a crisp and it is because of the lightning storm we had a while ago. Now I have to call Dell and ask them if they can fix it. I will probably have to go out and send my computer to them which majorly sucks. Another thing that sucks is that the wireless in my dorm sucks and I keep getting kicked off which is really frustrating! I also did not get the paper that has my mailbox number and combination and address and what not. I don't have enough money to get a new cell phone or fix my computer! This is just not good at all:( Basically this is the reason why I haven’t updated in forever! Plus the fact that I have been busy up my ass! Oh school it keeps me busy.
I am excited about my classes though. So far they are pretty good. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have Criminology at 9:05 - 9:55, Intro to Criminal Justice at 10:10 - 11:00, Tap Dance at 11:15 - 12:05 and Dance practicum at 6pm-10pm. Dance practicum is only on Wednesdays though. Tuesday and Thursday I have Intro to Psychology at 8:00 - 9:15, American Government at 9:30 - 10:45, and US Constitution at 11:00 - 12:15. On Tuesdays I have Voice Performance at 2:00 - 3:00.
Basically this is why I haven’t been writing. I feel bad because everyone always writes like all the time and I never do!! Lol I come home on weekends so that will probably be the time I write unless I find time during the week. I think I am going to go now. I don’t really know what else to say! OH WAIT!
Alright today I wake up and I look at the forecast and it says it is going to rain so I bring my umbrella. It starts to down pour in my Government class and then it lightens up. I then walk to my US Constitution class and it starts to down pour again. When I am in class there is lightning and Thunder and everything. And it is still pouring! Like really pouring! So I have to walk back to my dorm after that class is done and it is like raining like a crazy mother! Wicked hard and everything, crazy hard. I am getting soaked even with my umbrella but not compared to some of the people who don’t even have umbrellas. They were soaked through and through. At one point I come to and under pass and it is basically the only way to get to my side of campus unless you go all the way around. I look and people are up the there knees and waist in water. I could have gone around but I would have almost back tracked from where I started and it would have been like two miles and I would have gotten as wet as just going through the ass deep water. I was looking at this one kid who had to of been 6 feet or more and he was up to his knees. I looked at that and I was like yeah it’s definitely going to be up to my waist GREAT! So I took my sneakers off because I did not want to get them soaked and ruined and went in. It was at the half way point of my ass and it was so gross because you don’t know what is in that water! I mean it must have been some sewer water and what not. It was not good and I was so soaked! Once I got back to my room I stripped and then went into the shower! I scrubbed myself like I have never scrubbed myself before! Lol I just felt so dirty and everything after that. Not to mention I was hot and everything. I still am hot but what are you going to do? Anyways I just wanted to tell you all, that remarkable tale because isn’t that just great?
WAIT! I got more! lol So in the past week and a half there have been four rapes on campus. Kind of makes me feel unsafe! My mom called me freaking out and telling me not to go anywhere alone and all that jazz. It’s kind of hard though because after dancing on Wednesdays I don’t have anyone to walk back with to my dorm. I walk half way with people and then I am by myself. I mean it is an open area and I am not completely by myself but I still feel kind of uncomfortable. I hope they catch the guy who is doing this. They think it is one guys and not someone who lives on campus. They found one girl in the woods behind the apartments on campus beaten and raped. I was surprised because this town is a really nice town and I just was not expecting that from here. One of the raped happened during the day time too. One girl left with a guy and they think that he slipped something into her drink. Makes me scared and I hope they catch him quick! OK! I am really done now. This is going to be massively long! I really love you if you read all of this!:)
