He died today at 9:37 pm, Italian time, which makes it late enough to be considered Divine Mercy Sunday, the feat that he initiated. Wow. I was still asleep when this happened, and I just now read your post.

I know it doesn't mean as much to me as it does to you, but he seemed like a great man, and any passing of a great man is to be mourned.
