the first of many mondays
Today was my first day of summer knowing that i have no books to be read by august, no papers to write that will be sent around the world and no math to prepare for. It all seems really weird and many people that i speak to don't understand me. I did however have an overall fun day! My cat, Tiger, woke me up by crying in my ear and pulling my hair (a trick he's recently perfected). after trying to get him to shut up for an hour my mom said it was about time for me to get out of bed. i drove my dad around cantonment/ western pensacola and then walked around the neighborhood picking up cans to recycle. Oh, another plus is that i somewhat figured out how to work the customizer for this site (which i have much more to do) and i created a friends list.
Dana called me yesterday about going to see the harry potter movie june 4th- i can't wait! i mean i'm not as avid a fan as dana, but it'll be the first movie i've seen in more than a month and i'll see alan rickman- by far one of my favorite actors. My only worry is that i'll shed a few tears at the sight of him in a dress, but considering his character in the script i'll cope.
So how am i doin' so far? Am i too terribly boring yet or do i put enough comical illusions into my writing? Since i do plan on being an English (not engrish) major i guess this'll be good practice for me, although i have been speaking much like the sherrif of rottingham ("Robin Hood: Men in Tights"). You know when he says "How deer you kill a kings dare!" when he actually means "How dare you kill a kings deer!".......ha ha ha.....yeah.
Anyways, i'm almost finished reading "The Forest." It's a book i picked up the last day of the booksale at PHS. The head librarian lady (b/c i can never remember her name) said it was on her wish list, so i got it. its not as bad as i've heard Alita Blake can be, but it does have some weird parts. After that i plan to avoid books a million, who still does not have a book i ordered from them in March, and go to barnes and nobles to purchase Noel's language book so that i may learn elvish! That'll be really fun... anyways, this is already really long, so i'll close for now. Please leave comments and i'll update later.
