(no subject)
i should be doing statistics homework b/c i'm a chapter behind and i should be writing up notecards b/c i've got another speech tomorrow. anyways, i'm not b/c i don't feel good. i don't know how it is in virginia or tampa, but here in p'cola, the weather is as awfull as usual. shorts one day and thick jackets the next. i'm starting to feel really lousy, but at least its not just me. schools been better. i've gotten all my major stuff turned in and i think i only have one final test and/or paper left in each class *big smile*. the best thing is most of my teachers are thinking of take-home tests *tear*.
manuel and i went christmas shopping for our families, which was fun. after eating such traditional american food, its wierd to go to four winds and try their spinach dip and fetticine spread - which were really good! we even found some chocolate shot glasses, which i think we're going to make as a gift for a family member. i don't understand myself why on earth people like to drink alcohol! to date i've tried rum, red wine, sangria, and 'spirited' sprite, all of which were completely awful!!! in my opinion it tastes like cough syrup mixed mixed with dishwashing detergent! although sangria is somewhat endurable mixed with lotsa orange juice.
