Sunday
Yeah! Today is a happy day. Friday manuel and i met
cayliegh and dana at the rave to see HP3, which wasn't exactly like the
book, but they did a good job presenting the characters and all, then
when we got home, my mom and dad had fixed me and manuel a really nice
dinner to celebrate our being together for a year (anniversary). Then
saturday after my sat test, which was a whole lot easier than the
preparation cd, my family went out to foley, where we found this
little woodcarving shop across from the mall. it was really funny b/c
the owner nelson gregory or something had closed up the shop, but
forgot to lock the door, so we had to wait for about an hour for him to
get there after we got his cousin (who was out for a smoke brake by the
fast food place just up the street) to call her grandmother to call
him. It was fun though, my dad got two new woodcutting knives for his
birthday and manuel got a dragon book with patterns of how to cut
dragons out of wood. We drove home along the beach, which was really
wierd b/c all the way from foley to p'cola my mom was shocked at how
many hotels had popped up along the beachside. She and my dad kept
telling us how it used to be when they were our age. How the stretch
they knew as 'johnson's beach' used to only have a bar/lounge called
the flora-bama (i think thats right) and maybe half a dozen houses. And
today the flora-bama is still there, but there are so many hotels you
can't even see the beach! And did you know that the stretch of beach
called orange beach (i think) has a whole area secluded in hopes of
repopulating a certian type of mouse that lives only on the beaches of
that area? We met my brother at baskin robbins where i saw ashley. Then
this morning i had worship care, so i got to take care of three year
olds for an hour or so. They were so cute! I was very happy also b/c my
both friend from az and mi novio made a livejournal accounts, i also
found my thank you cards, but now i can't find my ib number to get my
grades.
