Daily routines get boring kinda quick.... i'm
writing thank you cards for graduation today. It's really scarry, but
some of the recipients actually liked my picture. Right now manuel is
playing a video game, joey is waltzing about with his short-arm kitana
and my parents are outside, probably inspecting the truck. And i'm
trying to find something interesting to talk about. Its weir that with
the end of high school and all the things that are ahead, the only
thing i can think to talk about is graduation. And that gets really
annoying after the fivehundreth time.
I guess i could talk about going to camp. Student life camp is a retreat sponsored by my church in which all the youth (6th to 12th grades) are shipped somewhere out of state. This'll be my last year so i'm kinda sad. On the last night my youth paster will have all the seniors sit on the stage and everyone there will wish us well. Traditionally once we step off the bus, we are no longer part of the youth group. This year camp is being held (at least for us) in Colorado, Tennessee (i know i probably didn't spell it right) i think. So july 12 to the 16 i won't be able to update my journal or get messages sent to my e-mail.
When i get back i'll tell you all about it. Last year i fell asleep on the top bunk and vicky, a friend i was rooming with, put up my hair in at least twenty pig-tails.... it was strange, but i didn't care so i went to lunch, got a picture with one of the actors working with the camp, and then got to our family group meeting before vicky finally took the ties out herself. Also last year, kristen, a younger sister of a close friend, rolled down a huge hill and almost ran onto the pavement. She couldn't stand up for a while.
Ah, memories are good.............................. I found a new hobby for myself. although i won't know if it worked out until later, so i won't bore you until its worthwhile. Thats all for now, i'll update later.
