And now for the good news
1) loveslashangst's husband found me a Copy Editor job to apply to, so I did. *fingers crossed*
2) I ordered this tonight:
Isn't she a beaut? She is "Spirit," the Chevron 2008 Breast Cancer Awareness Car (all proceeds go towards finding a cure). In 2003, I was making pink ribbons available at my office, and everyone knew that Mum was a survivor (now 7 years and counting!). One day, I got to work to find Hope in my chair (never did find out who left her for me). Every year since then, I've made a point of hunting down the annual BCA Car, either online or by pestering every Chevron clerk I find.
3) I have new clothes for England, and boy do I look good! ;-)
4) The voices in my head are back. ...Get away from me with that straightjacket! I mean, my characters are speaking to me again, and I'm writing.
5) Sometime this month, my brother-in-law will be home from Iraq. Home from the final deployment of his military career! *confetti*
