Lesson learned today: when LSA stays up too late and you send her back to bed to get more sleep, then run in the evening to make it up, after you've been on your feet most of the day at the shop without eating an actual meal, EAT SOMETHING before going running!

At least, running on an (essentially) empty stomach is what I'm blaming the stitch on. It started late in the first running rep, subsided during the first walking rep, came back in the second running rep, waned a bit, came back, etc. When it got increasingly worse during the last running rep, I finally had to give up at the halfway point and walk the rest of the time. But that's only 90 seconds of running I missed out on!

We're scheduled to go out running Friday morning before LSA's husband flies in later that day. I've been politely asked to vacate the premises for the weekend, so I'm desert-bound after Friday's run. Might put in a solo session while out there.

Oh, and a side note: This morning, I also went back to bed for an additional hour's kip. During that hour, I had a dream about running! LOL It started out that LSA had bailed on our run for some reason (she wasn't feeling well, didn't want to go, something), so I went without her. When I stepped out of the house, though, I was Home (in the UK)! Whilst I was running, I came across another woman who was running and ran with her for a while. A bus was involved later in the dream, and my new friend had to pay my fare for me, as I had no money. :-( But I find it amusing that I skip running and dream about it instead! ;-)
