the last time i wrote in here was march 22nd. i guess i can update. a break from studying.
i can't believe how fast this past year has gone. it has been an unbelievable year full of ups and downs, but i wouldn't change anything about it. this has been one of my best years at butler. i had some great roommates and got to know more about them. i FINALLY began to learn about different disease states and how to treat them including the mega load of OTC products (if you have a cold, cough, allergies, dermatitis situation, etc, come talk to me). my last year in alpha phi has been a good one as well.
but it is time to move on and begin another chapter. many of you who read this are graduating. congratulations! i'm freaking jealous of you; however, some of you are also going to grad school. congratulations (and we will bond during the next 2 years when we have exams/projects/papers that we don't want to do). :) i still have two more years left: one year left in the classroom (HECK YES... i can finally see the light) and a year of rotations. i went to a meeting last week actually about rotations and sitting there made me realize that it is only a year away. and i need to know my stuff.
i have some plans for the summer. i am going back home to schererville to work at st. mary's in the pharmacy. i'm also going to boston in july with the family which i'm really excited about. i've always wanted to go to boston... there's so much history to it! a bunch of white sox games; i actually have one in about two weeks when new york is in town and another game the following week when oakland is in town. and whatever else comes my way. it's my last real summer of independence... i'm going to live it up and if i'm not, someone do something about it. thanks in advance!
next year i'm living in a townhouse with two other alpha phis who are graduating. one is going to dental school at iupui and the other is out in the real world with a job. i'm excited... new roommates, a room to myself, and i'm looking forward to living off-campus. it's about a 6 minute drive, just down white river parkway. the place is about 5 years old and we're the first renters for the owners who used to live there. i can't wait.
well, i better get back to studying. i'm looking forward to seeing all my region loves when i get back. especially suzanne and ashley. i haven't seen them in FOREVER (since christmas break). it's been way too long. but for now, i'm going to continue to study for my therapeutics exam which is 122 questions long... and i have 2 hours to complete it. woohoo!
again, congratulations to everyone if you are graduating and good luck with finals! :)
