kelley is quoting the princess bride in her away message: "life is pain. anyone who tells you differently is selling something". sad, true, etc. but you know the best part about life being pain? ripping off the bandaid every once in awhile, in one quick pull. it feels amazing.

the decemberists are amazing. i bought a shirt and sticker and got a free drink from the cute bartender because he got in a fight and i got a drink spilled down the back of my leg. and megan and i went out and had a good time for the first time in awhile. we both deserved a real night out, and the decemberists were fantastic live, i mean really fantastic, so it was well worth it.

now back to the doldrums.

i mailed out my application to school on friday. now, all we need to do is root for financial aid. next project, sending out the resume to jobs that wont make me feel anxiety and hatred all day long.

speaking of anxiety and hatred, part one of my root canal begins this week. thursday. hurray for valium and for my sister (not necessarily in that order) hope i can function at work later that day...

i cant finish my second waffle right now. are you kidding me?

watched the big lebowski yesterday. that movie is amazing. i am rapidly becoming a huge coen brothers fan. HUGE.

must read more and faster. missing out on stuff.

there is NOTHING like sleeping in/on fresh yummy warm clean sheets just out of the dryer. amazing.

and now to shower, throw the rest of this waffle away, clean a dish (i was in the kitchen, cleaning a dish, i heard it, so i CAME OUT...FUCK SHOES), get dressed and go to hell. you know, to work, to hell, same difference except that borders is always cold, and hell is, you know, really hot. lava hot. like matthew fox. and gale harold. and chris babbitt.

later, suckas.
