i agree with your opinion on relationships, but i think its a lot more complicated than that. things will always get more serious, and there will always be occasional problems, but for the most part it is about having fun for each other. and as much as it may seem to some that i dont have fun with my girlfriend or we dont seem to be quite right, we have one of the best relationships. no one sees her like i do, and we are completely different when we are together alone than with other people, so no one sees us as a couple. i love her more than anything and dont regret anything about our relationship. dont get me wrong tho, i didnt assume that your post had any relation to me at all, i jus wanted to put that out there as my opinion and as to not sound so hypocritical ;)

and as for stereotypes...yeah thats a biggie, though some guys actually believe that and some may jus say they do because they havent found a person they wanted to be with, or hadnt had a chance to be with a person they did want... also i think you deserve what you get yourself into, and you should get to know someone pretty good before you decide to steadily date 'em, that way you never have to worry about someone who does want to ruin your life or is overly obsessive. so drop the stereotype altogether and jus be smart about that shit, and you have nothin to worry about basically
