Dear Journal,
I have chosen to fast for two months, starting May 4. I have decided to give up fast food and soda. It is common for people to fast in April due to our good Lord's death and resurrection, but last month was too crazy for any of us to fast. My great uncle died and so we were busy helping the family prepare for the funeral and then I had school, etc. etc. I am the only one in my family that has decided to take this challenge. I feel pretty good about it as well :-) The Lord just came to me and asked me to fast something that I love. I love fast food and soda, so I chose those. Besides, it can help my weight go down if I gave those up.
Today I have to go get blood work done. UGGH! Craziness. I have to fast until I get it done which is a total nightmare considering that I am already starving lol. Got my mom and grandma a mother's day gift already. It's on its way over here, hopefully will be in time for mother's day. I got my mom a silver necklace with a silver heart and has "mom" written inside it with a diamond in the middle. So pretty! I got my grandma a green butterfly for her charm bracelet. Green is her favorite color and she loves butterflies so I hope she will love it.
Summer vacation will end approximately three in a half weeks for me, then back to school. Can't wait! I already miss being at school. This summer will be a breeze. I am taking theater online and I am taking a math class on campus, so I will be home by noon every day. :-) I go to class at 8 am till 10 am so it won't be so bad. Then the bus arrives at school at 11:30 so yeah that'd be good. I can't wait to start learning math again. I need it so much. Besides, I am waiting for that pay check the government gives me every 2 months. Sucks that next year I won't have a pay check to rely on. I only get it this year because it is my first semester, so then I have a little money left over. Anyhow, I have to go get ready to go to the doctor's. See ya later!
oh by the way, Sean and I are doing FANTASTIC!
