Greetings from Perth!
Hello! I'm in Perth, Western Australia at the start of a two week break, staying at mum's and unplugging from work for a while... blissful. While not the city of my birth, Perth is my mum's home town, the destination of many a childhood holiday and where I lived between 1986 and 2000. Since moving to Sydney, visits here have been fleeting, Christmas-time affairs caught up in a frenzy of seasonal present shopping and ham carving. Though fun, these visits are rarely a chance to relax, something I'm very much looking forward to doing over the next fortnight. I'll try to keep you up to date as the days unfold.
