In other news, work continues at a cracking pace. I'm just about spent, but the sense of achievement is great, and some very positive feedback from two new and very important clients has helped lift my mood. My fist cover for Vogue hit newsstands on Wednesday, just as I discovered their editorial retouching rate is almost double what I'd previously been told. Win! This month will also be the first time I've had retouching work appear in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Grazia, InStyle and Russh all at the same time. The need for a personal assistant/booker/gatekeeper is now a certainty and a strong candidate has been recommended. I'm now going to finish a swimwear campaign before the client in New York comes online in six and a half hours. Then it's bed for some well-deserved sleep and a mostly work-free weekend. ♥
