It’s been a month since Tegoshi worked at the Masuda’s mansion as Massu’s entertainer and friend but he can’t help thinking of his mother. Even if he is visiting her, he is still worried about her condition. According to the doctor, she needs to take 5 therapies every 3 weeks before she gets better. He needs to smile since he’s working here just so that Massu will have a friend. Plus he earns a large amount of money here than being a prostitute. At least this one was a decent job and it’s not dirty anymore, so he’s happy and contented with it.

Tegoshi had an agreement with Taguchi that once Massu is happy with his company, and when his mother has recovered, he will leave this place.

“Tesshi?” called Massu, worriedly.

“Hm?”

“You’ve spaced out!” Massu showed his pouty lips.

“Sorry about that.” Tegoshi apologized.

“You have a problem? You can tell me, we’re friends, right?”

“Yes, I just miss my mom. I usually visit her, but I saw her in pain and it hurts. I can’t stand seeing her in pain.” Tegoshi said with a small frown on his face.

“You are such a kind son, you treasure her so much.”

“I love my mom. She used to take care of me when I was sick, so now it’s my turn to take care of her as her son, right?”

“Yes. Tesshi, I want to tell you something.” Massu suddenly realized he wants to say something to him.

“What is it?” Tegoshi was curious. Massu was always like this that it always makes him nervous all the time.

“Tesshi, you have a beautiful personality. I knew it was beautiful the first time I saw you because of the way you greeted me and smiled at me. I can see that your intention is pure. You’re pretty nice Tesshi. I love your company so much that I forget about my hunger.” And with that he sees the sweetest smile that Tegoshi gave him.

“Thank you for your compliment. That made me happy.” He says while his eyes were a bit teary. He kissed Massu’s cheeks and both of them blushed. This caused Tegoshi to smile widely.

Tegoshi was on the university and his mind was full of thoughts of his mother. He was very worried about her and he misses her so much. Although he always visits her, she’s always asleep. So he decided to skip work and went to his mother later. He thinks that the other would let him to.

Suddenly, his phone vibrated and it was an anonymous number. When he checked it, the sender was telling him to spend a night with him. He stopped being a prostitute since the time he started working at Massu’s place so he rejected the sender. At least he left that dangerous job again.

His phone vibrates once again and it was a message from Massu.

I miss you.

He wasn’t expecting to receive this kind of message from Massu, he replied quickly with a smile on his face.

Don’t worry, I’ll be there later.

After a few minutes, Massu replied.

No need! I’m in front of your classroom, you’ve really spaced out.

Tegoshi blinked for a while and turned towards the door. The person he served and gave entertainment to was at his university?

“Massu!” he ran to him and glomped him. He is always clingy to everyone.

“What are you doing here?” he asked the older guy.

“I told you Tesshi, I missed you!” he smiled. Tegoshi pinched his cheeks.

“You’re so cute!” Tegoshi squealed.

“You don’t have classes anymore?”

“I still have one.” He smiled. “Why? Are you planning to take me to a date?”

“If you want to, then I will. Just tell me later where you want to go.” Tegoshi just nodded and went inside the classroom. He definitely can’t wait for his class to finish. He’ll just ask him to take him to the hospital, such a selfish request.

“Tesshi, where do you want to go?” Massu asked on their way to his car.

“Massu, can I… go to the hospital and visit my mom? I miss her.” Tegoshi says with a sad face. Massu smiled at the younger boy and messed his hair.

“Of course! We’ll buy her what she wants.” He replied and saw Tegoshi’s face enlightened.

“Then, we’ll buy flowers and chocolates!”

“And miso soup!” suggested Massu.

“Miso soup?” he stopped, turned himself at the older guy.

“Yes, she doesn’t like it?”

“No, she would like it. I just miss her miso soup. She makes the best miso soup!”

“Really? I’m looking forward to it. Do you know how to make it?”

“Just a bit.” He grinned. “But not as delicious as my mom’s.”

“Can you make me one?”

“I told you Massu, it’s not as good as my mom’s.” Tegoshi frowns while they’re going to the flower shop.

“What is your mother’s favorite flower? Is it Daphne, Marigold or Tulip?” he asked Tegoshi who is seriously thinking of what to buy.

“Mom likes Magnolia and Freesia. So that’s it!” He told the florist what his mom wants and the florist arranged it in nice and beautiful way.

“Massu! It’s so wonderful!!!” Tegoshi squealed as he pays for the flower and for the arrangement. He skipped towards Massu and took the vase, their fingers touched. The older man was the first to take his hands from the vase. Massu said that they have to go to the hospital. Tegoshi just nodded and follow the older guy.

“Mom!” called Tegoshi inside their room and found his mom sitting on the hospital bed, knitting. She turns to him with a pale smile on her face.

“Yuya!” says Tegoshi-san. His mom hugged him and he cried on her shoulders. Massu made his way to the room, and placed the vase on the table. He bowed at her.

“Yuya, who is he?” Tegoshi’s mom asked her son. Tegoshi turns to Massu and smiled.

“He’s Masuda Takahisa. He’s the person I’m working with right now.”  Tegoshi introduced Massu to his mother.

“Thank you for taking care of him.” She says and bows in gratitude. Massu returned it with a charming smile on his face.

“It doesn’t matter, Tegoshi-san. Tesshi is very nice and cheerful. And he never takes that smile off of his face. I’m very grateful to have him work with me.” He replied in respect to her.

“Mom, here’s the flower I bought for you. You like them, right?”

“Yes son. I love these flowers.” She smiled and stares at it.

“I’m glad.” He smiled.

“Yuya, you still need to go to your class tomorrow. You better go home and rest.” Says his mother. Her son just nodded and takes their leave.

“Why don’t you stay at my house tonight, then?” he offered Tegoshi.

“No, I’ll just stay at our apartment tonight.” The younger one rejected the other’s offer.

“But, you’re alone on that house.” Tegoshi stopped. Yes, he’s alone but he already got used to having someone sleep beside him for a while then leave him with the money.

“Do you want me to carry you to my car?”

“No, Massu, I’ll come with you!” he runs towards him. “I don’t want to be alone. I never want to remember the times that I usually slept with different people for money. I don’t want to remember that. I am scared, Massu.” Tegoshi embraced him, sobbing. Massu was confused about the other’s declaration.

“You used to sleep with people for money?” He turns to Tegoshi, the younger one just nodded. He can’t lie to him.

“I don’t want to lie about it. Please don’t hate me.”

“What are you talking about?” Massu laughed at Tegoshi. “I’ll never hate you for your previous job, I know you do that for your mother’s sake, right?” Tegoshi nodded.

“Thank you Massu!” he smiled and they enter his car.

Massu drives on their way home. Tegoshi fell asleep on the way. He smiled and drove until they arrived at his mansion. He carried Tegoshi out and took him to his room and let him sleep on the bed. He stared at Tegoshi’s angelic face and placed a blanket on him. Then he headed to the couch to sleep.

He wanted to tell Tegoshi to stay here while he is working for him. But he is afraid that Tegoshi would reject his offer. He is happier when Tegoshi around him. He sings and he cheers people. He can’t ask for more. Tegoshi is simply perfect!
