Weeks later after Shige’s discharge from the hospital, he and Ryo went out twice. They had exchanged numbers and email addresses. They got to know each other better, they had became close during the time that they had spent together. Shige didn‘t deny his attraction to Ryo, he was way more than he had ever expected.
Shige’s thoughts about how awesome Ryo was were interrupted when Ryo pulled out a cigarette. Shige immediately knocked it out of his hand.
“What?”
“Don’t smoke.” He said.
“Why? Its part of my everyday life. Smoke, drink, and sleep around. I told you.”
“You know its bad! You obviously want to die early!”
“What if I do? Are you worried about me?” He smirked.
“Yes, plus if you die, you’ll lose everyone who’s important to you.”
“I don’t care.” He’s so cute when he worries about me. He’s concerned. Ryo thought.
“What about your daughter?”
“Misaki? She hates me. I’m always busy, not at her side. Its always my mom who is there to take care of her. She is teased by her classmates because of me, because she grew up without a mother. They say that I’m gay, having a male lover and everything. Doesn‘t that hurt her? I really don’t want to be like this, really. Is it my fault?” he tried to be calm and not to cry. Shige provided support by patting him on the shoulder.
“I understand you. Let her grow and understand everything. She will understand you better.”
“I guess so. Thanks Shige.”
“Betsuni Ryo.” He smiled.

“I want to go home.” He yawned.
“I’ll take you home then, Shige.”
“H-hai.”
As he drove Shige home, Ryo noticed that he had fallen while on the way home. Ryo got caught up for during the drive because he couldn‘t help but glance over at Shige‘s beautiful face. No one could deny that Shige was cute as he slept. Once they arrived, Ryo sees a guy standing at the house gate. He wakes Shige up.
“Shige, wake up, there’s someone standing in front of your house. Do you know who it is?.” Shige wakes up and puts his glasses on and stares. Then his eyes widened because of disbelief.
“Yamapi…” he said.
His ex-boyfriend? What does he want? He leaves and forgets Shige that easily and here he is! Standing in front of his house. What is his intentions? Does he want him back? What the hell?! I’ll take him away before you do, jackass
“You want to talk to him?”
“I guess I need to.”
“Okay. I’ll go with you.” He gets out of the car and opens the door for Shige.
“Thanks.” He slowly gets out of the car.
I’ll try not to be jealous. He’s just his past, right? There’s nothing wrong. Past is past. But, if he still love him, that’s different and there’s nothing I can do to make him mine.
“Yama-shita-kun?” he calls outs. The guy looks back at him.
“Shige?” he runs to him and hugs him.
“Shige! I’m glad that you’re okay now. I missed you.”
“Congratulations for you and Tegoshi.” He smiled.
“Anou. Shige, you know already?” he asked.
“Yeah. Massu told me ‘bout it.”
“Gomen. I don’t love him. I still love you Shige. Please forgive me.”
“After all these years, you still can’t love him? Then what’s the sense of living together, huh?” he asked.
“He moved in. It’s our house, remember.”
“I don’t think so.” Shige goes inside the house, and Ryo follows.
“Hey!” Pi calls out.
Ryo turns around swiftly, “What the hell do you want?”
“Why are you with my boyfriend?”
“Boyfriend you say?” he laughs. “You call him your boyfriend? Are you kidding? After how you left him and choose another.”
“That’s not it! Tegoshi and I had a one night stand. I admit that. But, it doesn’t mean that I don’t love Shige anymore.”
“Whatever, I don’t want to hear any stupid explanations from you. And I don’t know anything ‘bout your relationship with him.” Ryo walks through the door.
“Do you like him?”
Ryo comes back out, “Yeah, I love him. So I won’t give him up that easily to a STUPID person like you. Once is enough. I don’t want to see him hurt because of you.” He goes inside, but this time closes the door behind him. He looks for Shige and finds him in his room upstairs.
“Dare?”
“It’s Ryo.”
“Come in.” he follows Shige into his room.
“Shige, doushite?”
“Ah, nandemonai.” He looks down.
“Do you still love him?” he asked, the younger man looks up at him.
“Yeah, I did, of course. For 7 years, the length of our relationship. I loved him with all my heart. He’s my life, he’s my everything.”
Shige still loves that stupid guy. I lost. Should I give up? Or should I continue to fight these feelings for him? I need to talk to that pig.
“I see.” Ryo is the one to looks down this time.
“But, I don’t want to go back to him, because we used to argue a lot, and I’m hurt too much to deal with it.”
I still have a chance? Ryo questioned himself.
“Ne, do you know someone who is at pool a right now?”
“Yeah, my daughter. She has a field trip today with my mom. Why?”
“I have a feeling that someone will drown in a pool.”
“Eh? Are you serious?”
“Yeah.”
“Let’s go there then.”
“Hai.”

They went to the place where Ryo’s daughter was on her field trip. He rushed, he believed Shige even though it sounds weird, but he knew that Shige wouldn’t lie like that. They finally found her, but they saw that a lifeguard take her out of the pool and laid her on the pool deck. He rushed and volunteered himself to give CPR to his daughter. Shige and all others who crowded around the scene, witnessed him performing CPR on his daughter. The crowd included her school mates, teachers, and other faculty members. Shige worried about what would happen since he and Ryo had shown up, all he could think about was how he had placed Ryo and his daughter’s lives in danger. The conversation he had with Ryo earlier replaying in his head, over and over again.
“She is teased by her classmates because of me, because she grew up without a mother. They say that I’m gay, having a male lover and everything. Doesn‘t that hurt her? I really don’t want to be like this, really. Is it my fault?”
I’ll leave them alone, and I’ll wait at the parking lot for them. He thought while he went back to the car.

He waited at the parking lot for them. Thinking deeply, asking himself how did he know that kind of thing? Does he have a special power after the accident and being in a coma for so long?
Approaching the car was Ryo and his daughter, and they were yelling at each other.
“Misaki! Don’t act like that in front of people, pushing me in the pool was wrong! You should learn how to respect me, your father!” Ryo said looking very angry and even wetter.
“That’s why I didn’t want you to come! You make me ashamed of my name.” Misaki said.
Shige thought they were indeed similar to each other, as father and daughter.
“You-.” He was unable to finish his statement when his mother approached them.
“Ryo, don’t be so loud!” His mother said.
“Mom! This little shit….”
“Stop it! Misaki, go inside.” The little girl did as was told. Ryo then went to Shige and whispered.
“Gomen, that kid is a little shit.”
“Its okay.” Shige replied, Ryo went into the car with him and sat beside Misaki, and gets his extra clothes.
“Say sorry to Shige.” He says to Misaki before leaving; Shige stared at her
“Hi Misaki!” he approached the little girl but then she suddenly started crying.
“Oh, gomen. Did I make you cry?”
“Are you my dad’s boyfriend?!” came from the little girl’s voice who is sobbing.
“N-no. I’m just his client and a friend. Please don’t misunderstand.” He blushed alittle. She suddenly looked at him with a little smile on her face.
“If you’re my dad’s boyfriend maybe I’ll accept it. But i guess not, so oh well.” She pouted.
“What are you talking about?”
“I like you. If dad had a relationship with you, I’ll accept that he’s what they call ‘bisexual’.”
“Sou.”
Its very strange at her young age to know of this kind of a situation. I guess she’s thinking this kind of thing, that's really mature of her. He thought.
“Can you make my dad fall for you?” she asked.
“What?! I can’t.” he laughed.
“Sou. Then wait for me to grow up. And I’ll get married to you.” She smiled.
“Silly girl.” He laughed louder.
“Ne,”
“Nani?”
“Do you think my dad loves me?”
“Yeah! He loves you. He told me a lot about you.” Ryo’s mom enters the car.
“Anou, Misaki?”
“Hai?” replied Misaki.
“Be sure to apologize to your dad later, ok?”
“Hai.” She laid on Shige’s lap.
“Anou, are you Kato Shigeaki?” Ryo's mom asked Shige.
“H-hai.” He bows a little.
“I just want to thank you for this.”
“Ah, its okay Nishikido-san.” He smiled.
“Okay, stay with us for dinner, okay? I want to say a formal thank you.” He couldn't reject the offer.
He just nods and says, “Thank you.”
Ryo finally came back and started to drive home, while driving he glanced back at Misaki and Shige. The view of them sleeping made him smile, because they were so cute.

When they arrived home, Ryo carried Misaki inside as Shige followed. As Ryo's mother prepared dinner, he sat on the sofa with Shige and Misaki.
“Misaki.” Ryo strokes his daughter’s hair.
“Dad. Gomenasai.” She suddenly cried and hugged him.
“Its okay. I should be the one to blame, right? I don’t have time for you, right? And its not that. Having a relationship with same gender, you hate me for that, right?”
“Hai.”
“So, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
“Its okay, dad. But, promise me one thing.” She moved away a little.
“What is it Misaki?”
“That guy, can I marry him?”
“Who are you talking about? Ah! Shige?” he asked and she nodded.
“Shige has a lover already. So you can’t. Oi! You’re only 10, you’re flirting!” he said which made her pout..
“I’m not.”
“Then why is my daughter thinking about marriage?”
“I like him, okay!?”
OMG! Why has my daughter become my other rival for Shige!?
“I give up!” he shouted.
“Actually, I have a crush on him, but... I like him... for you daddy.”
“What?”
“I’ll accept you to be like that, just him. I know he’s a nice person daddy.”
“Are you sure about that?”
“Tell me first, do you like Mr. Handsome?” she asked in an excited way, waiting for his answer.
“Yeah. I love him. Satisfied?”
“Yes daddy! Are you gonna tell him?”
“Not yet. I need to talk to his best friend who is such a gyoza addict and eats like a pig.”
“Don’t talk like that daddy!”
“Fine. I’ll stop. I need to get his number though. Oh, you need to rest.”
“Hai. Tell me if the two of you are... you know.” She lied down.
“Fine. Jaa. Oyasumi.” He goes down beside Shige.
“Hey.” He tapped his shoulder.
“Nani?’ Shige asks.
“May I borrow your phone?”
“Doushite?”
“I need to get the pig’s number.”
“Pig?”
“That Massu guy the one who eats like a pig.”
“Don’t call him that.” He pouted. “Why do you want to talk to him?”
“To return the bento box which has his gyoza from last time.”
“Ah, sou ka.” He took out his brand new phone and hands it to Ryo, he gets the number and returns it.
“Arigatou.”
“Betsuni.”
“I’ll be back for dinner. Wait awhile and I’ll take you home.”
“Hai.” Ryo left to call Massu.
“Moshi moshi?” answered Massu on the other line.
“This is Nishikido Ryo.”
“Oh, the guy at the hospital. I remember. What is it?”
“Let’s meet now. I have something to tell you.”
“What? Are you gonna kill me?”
“I wont’t do that pig!”
“What is it?”
"Its about Shige.”
“Sou ka. Just go here.” Massu gives the address of his apartment.
“Okay. Wait for me i'll be there soon.” Ryo goes to his car in a hurry to the meet-up location that Massu gave him.

“So, what are we going to talk about that involves Shige?”
“We saw his ex-boyfriend.”
“Yamapi!?”
“Whoever he is. He told him the he still loves him and he wants him back.”
“Eh? He told him that. So what did Shige say?”
“He was mad at him but, I asked him if he still loved him he said ‘yes’. But he doesn’t want to go back to him.”
“So, what now? You should be happy! Wait! You said that you’re not the right person for him, right?”
“I changed my mind. I’ll make him happy. No matter what it takes. So help me.”
“Are you sure about that?”
“Yeah. I’m so damn fucking sure.”
“First thing in my mind. Wait. Shige said something happened on your daughter’s field trip.”
“Yeah, she almost drowned.”
“Sou ka. How ‘bout inviting him to go swimming, with you and your daughter?”
“That’s a good idea. You'll come with us. I’ll do it at our rest house.”
“Okay.”
“Thanks.”
“Its nothing, as long as you make my best friend happy, its fine. That’s all, and don’t forget my gyoza and miso soup, okay?”
“Whatever! You pig.”

After the conversation with Massu; Ryo went home, he had dinner with Shige and his family. They talked a lot, mainly about Ryo’s childhood days, it was funny and Shige couldn’t stop laughing but Ryo liked it, even if it was embarrassing. Just seeing Shige smile was enough, it didn’t matter.

“Lets go Shige, I'll take you home.”
“Yeah. Anou, Nishikido-san, arigatou for the dinner.” Shige bowed.
“Its okay. Come back anytime okay?”
“Hai.” He smiles and exits the house. While walking to the car, Ryo suddenly grabs his hand and pulls them faster towards it. He opens Shige's door to let him slide in, then ran to the other side to get in.
“Ryo.”
“Hai?” Ryo started the car.
“Your mom’s nice.”
“Yeah.”
“Who knew that you played with mud when you were little.” He laughed.
“I was only 4 at that time. How could I know better?!”
“To know that about you, you’re so cute.” Ryo suddenly pulls off the road and into the parking lot of a park. There’s no one around probably because it’s late in the evening. Probably, most of them are out having fun at bars, karaoke, etc.
“Let’s go over there.” Ryo says after a couple of seconds of silence, motioning to the park.
“Why?”
“I have something to tell you.”
“Why not here in the car?”
“I like it there. Let’s go.” He finally puts the car in park, gets out and opens the door on Shige's side.
“Thanks.”
“Betsuni, Shige.” They walk over to a bench.
“What is it?”
“Do you still really love him, your boyfriend?”
“I still do. But honestly, I want to forget him. He’s with someone else. So I don’t like it anymore. We’re hurting each other.” As Shige kept talking, Ryo brngs his hands to Shige's face and cups it lovely.
“Can I kiss you?”
“W-what?”
“I’m asking you, if i can kiss you. Would you let me?”’ he asked politely.
“If we kiss, it doesn’t mean anything to you.”
“It means everything, a lot. Plus, your lips are kissable, I can't help but stare at them.”
Shige blushed a bright red.“I guess so, its fine. But, it’s the first and last time, okay?” he said.
“Okay.” Ryo said.
You won’t say that again later, I’ll make you beg for me to kiss you again.
He leans closer with closed eyes and brushes his lips with Shige's.
Shige felt his Ryo's lips against his as they kissed, it was soft, and feels as the kiss deepens between them. He liked it, and wanted to be kissed like that again and again. Shige finally gave in and kissed Ryo back, if he hadn't it would have driven him crazy.
He kissed me back. It means he liked my kiss. I know he will beg for more. I’m so sure about it.
Ryo breaks the kiss to whisper something to Shige.“I love you Shige.” Then he starts to kiss Shige again, Shige breaks the kiss and moves away.
“Why'd you stop? You don’t like it?” asked Ryo.
“No.. I mean, yeah. I like it. Demou, you love me?”
“Yeah. I've loved you since I first saw you. ”
“I was in a coma at that time.”
“Yeah. I fell for you because you’re cute while sleeping, I love staring at you. And your lips are kissable. That face of yours before, like a Sleeping Beauty who’s begging to be kissed.” He said.
“Demou, Ryo, I told you earlier, I still have feelings for Yamapi.” Shige looked down.
“I’ll wait, I’ll help you forget him.” Ryo turns to him.
“Let’s see.”
“Ne, didn't you like the kiss earlier?” The question made Shige blush furiously, he shouldn’t have said that he liked it earlier.
“Damn you.” Shige said
“What!?”
“I said that it was the first and last kiss, but you did more than that which made me give in and want more." Shige looked away while talking and Ryo could help but smile at how bashful and honest he was being.
“I didn't! I’m just a good kisser. I can't help it if you are so easily overcome with my kiss you gave in so easily.”
“You did it on purpose, I know it.” Shige looked at him accusingly.
“I did not.”
“Whatever.”
“Fine, I did do it on purpose. I couldn't let it be our first and definately not our last.”
“Why?”
“Baka! I told you that I love you right!?”
“Oh yeah. I remember.” He teased.
“What you Alzheimer’s disease or something?!”
“I guess so.”
“So you can’t remember me or who you are now?”
“I remember you and I remember mine. You’re Nishikido Ryo. The one who saved my life, the one who loves me, and the guy I've started to like now.” Shige stood up and started to walk away.
“Is that true, Shige?”
“That what?”
“That, you starting to like me?” Ryo stood up in haste to follow him.
Such idiot, Nishikido Ryo, Shige thought to himself.
“No. I’m just kidding. Let’s go.”
“Sou ka. Okay. Let’s go, old man.” Ryo teased as they walked to the car.

That night, Yamapi went home late in a drunken state, Tegoshi had been so worried. He knew Yamapi had seen Shige, which was his biggest fear. It scars him to think about Yamapi not coming back home to him but to Shige. He had heard someone knocking the door, when he opened it and saw Yamapi, he looked pretty bad. He had been hunched over drunk and crying, and putting two and two wasn't hard since they both knew Shige wasn't in the Hospital anymore.
“Yamapi. Doushite? Are you drunk?” he asked too worried.
“Yuya.” He called him by his first name at the first time.
“Hai?”
“Do you… really love me?” Yamapi asked Tegoshi, and then he suddenly started sobbing harder.
“Yes! I really, really do Yamapi!” he hugged him tightly.
“Then, will you teach me… to forget Shige and learn to love you?”
Yeah, he went to Shige. And Shige rejected him, that’s why he is like this? Yamapi's tears started to fall harder.
“Why do you ask? I always will.”
“Shige… rejects me because of what happened to us and there’s someone… that loves him, he’s always by his side. I don’t know… he might forget me… ”
“Yamapi. I love you. Please, forget him and love me. I’ll teach you everything to help you to forget Shige so that you only look at me. Make me yours, onegai.” Tegoshi pleaded and then kissed Yamapi passionately.

Ryo brought Shige home, Shige went inside the house to find that Ryo had left a letter for him. It was invitations for to him accompany Ryo to a business party which required them to stay at a hotel. Shige asks Ryo about it.
“You want me to accompany you there?” he asked.
“I don’t want to.”
“Why?”
“You might do something bad to me.”
“You’re thinking of me as a bad person now? You’re weird.”
“I know.”
“Okay. I should be going now. Oyasumi.”
“Oyasumi.”
“Be careful at home, You might get yourself in trouble. Jaa.” As Ryo leaves Shige recieves a call on his cell phone.
“Moshi moshi?”
“Is this Kato Shigeaki?” Someone says on the other line.
“Hai? Who is this?”
“The owner of the law office you applied to yesterday, Koyama Keiichiro.”
“H-hai?”
“I heard that you were a new lawyer before your accident. Is the information correct?”
“Hai.”
“Okay. I was calling to say that you have the job and that you're starting tomarrow with a client already requesting your legal opinion.”
“Hai! Arigatou.”
“Okay. Just be here at 10 am sharp.”
“Hai Koyama-san.” Shige says right before the person on the other line hangs up.

I don’t know, I feel pity on Tegoshi, he did all of these things for Yamapi. Even hurting his friend, Shige.
About Koyama’s part in the story, I don’t really how. Just find out in the chapter 4. ^^
And I forgot
nishymassurequest for more Massu’s part. I will include that in chapter 4. I think it’s the right chapter for Massu~! ^^ Gomen Nish~! Promise. Next chapter na lang. Sensya na.
This is the end of chapter 3. I think of having 2 or 3 last chapters for this fic. I don’t know. Because, I’m starting a new multi-chaptered fic. And 3 one-shots.
I want TegoPi and ShigePi parts. I’ll try to put it up in Chapter 4. ^^
