Mads is a telepath! There are, however, a few stipulations for using his telepathy. Most people have a natural barrier against him, so he is unable to use his ability on people without their express permission. It doesn't have to be a 'yes', necessarily. A simple positive answer is enough for him to invade your tender brain meats and learn your secrets.
However, emotional and/or unstable people have an unreliable natural defense against him. So he's more likely to find chinks in the armor, so to speak. He will wiggle through these holes and learn things about people. He has such a low opinion of people, most of what he learns he will brush aside as irrelevant to his interests.
BUT if you would like for him to use this information for blackmailing purposes, or just general antagonizing purposes, he can do that! Just let me know what information you want him to find and how much of it. Just because their defense is weaker, doesn't mean it doesn't work at all!
