Actually, a subordinate came across it while shopping for...'supplies' in Boston. Truly a serendipitous find.
...well, he's dead now, so not for *him*, but you know what I mean. In any event, it's good to keep tabs on suppliers, you may never know when they decide to trumpet that they have 'something really outstanding' that you can just happen to acquire by sending the right expendable fool.
Alas, I'm sure that I will have to either return to basics or cook up something special for my next work. I was thinking...perhaps a device that converts puppies into a substance so flammable that it will cause stone to burn?

No doubt. Besides, I already have something to set stone on fire.
Is your curiousity satisfied, your sense of moral indignation quelled? Do remember who we work for, my brother. Aspiring to be saints, or even wholesome, is a luxury not allowed to us.

You're looking for civility in an organization that wants to start an all-out war between the two major powers on the continent for the sole purpose of making more money and getting a little more control over its power base?
One day, you'll have learned your lesson on how our world works. It'll be wonderful, you'll need to spend so much less time concerned about little details like morals and civility, and instead focus on getting what needs to be done, done.
With your record so far, just think of the marvels you'll be able to accomplish!

Alright, fine. Still, you could've used some sort of poison that caused instantaneous death instead of torturing everyone in the damned town for hours before they just gave out.

Hmm.
Three of the other four research projects I know of at Draklor aren't suitable - two aren't military, and there's no way I'd be able to *secretly* fire off the rocket the last one is building.
The last was a disease that eats the flesh off of the bodies of people afflicted it over the course of a couple weeks. It's incurable and several times more dangerous to transport than the poison; I'd have probably infected half of Reial had I wound up with that.

How did you come by that, anyway? Was it a gift from one of our patrons?

Not if I wanted to implicate Ivona in the way I did.

So...no, there wasn't.
