No? Well then you haven't had tonsilitis. Seriously! It hurts. It reduces grown people to whimpering in the middle of the night. I seriously contemplated slamming my head against the wall in hopes of knocking myself out. I also considered getting drunk...but those hopes were quickly dashed when I realized I couldn't swallow. I've been poked, proded, stabbed in the ass, and it all seems like sweet doctorly carresses compared to the pain emitted from my tonsils. They were bleeding. I case you didn't catch that....MY TONSILS WERE BLEEDING!!! I seriously quit smoking. I seriously....oww...pain....you so have no clue. Oh and my boss called cause I was out sick and it's spring break...our busiest time and was all..."it's spring break...you sure you can't make it in..." And she seemed shocked to hear that I probably wouldn't be working the rest of the week. Well I gotta go give me doc. excuse to my boss in hopes that she'll believe that I was really sick!
