STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS
SORT OF OVERDUE.
When Shigure came to camp he did so knowing he had left Akito, on purpose. He figured something would happen if Akito was left alone for a while. Then Akito came to camp, which was okay because it gave Shigure the chance to push things a bit more. And then Akito left, which was a blow to Shigure because now Akito is back with Kureno by choice. This makes Shigure jealous and bitter and angry and NOT OKAY. On top of it, Shigure's goal is to GET Akito and at this point, in camp he can't work towards that goal.
Akito leaving willingly means that Shigure being away is not punishment for her anymore and that makes Shigure want to leave, which had never been a problem before. Camp is good for the family and even if he could leave, he wouldn't. But that doesn't change the fact that he wants to leave and that he is not happy.
Which leads me to: Shigure hates camp sometimes. He hates not having control, but he had mostly come to terms with it, but LATEST EVENTS, namely the boggarts and Abel's deaging, have put him back in the hate wagon.
The boggart was healthy for him on some very basic level, because it helped him notice things he hadn't noticed before, but he doesn't acknowledge that. He was terrified, he hated it a lot and had Abel behaved any differently, Shigure would have been a mess for weeks afterwards.
Abel's deaging is a completely different story. Abel didn't deserve it. Just as he didn't deserve to remember it nor to have to deal with the aftermath. So yeah, Shigure was angry. Not outwardly, because he doesn't do that. But he was, and still is angry and somewhat bitter towards camp.
SO. IN SUMMARY: Shigure is angry, lost because he can't do what he wants to do, and moreless in the same challenging kind of mood he was in when he arrived. He'll get better! He's going to bother the Sohmas more and focus on what he can achieve instead of on what he can't. ALSO. AS A DISCLAIMER. I'VE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE BAD THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO HIM. SO. YEAH. I enjoy playing him regardless of his angst levels.
That aside, his bad mood shouldn't really affect interactions. He's just more likely to get quiet with some people. And by some people I mean Ayame, Hatori, Rabi and maaaaybe Abel. Other than that he'll be pretty much the same as ever.
