Former liberal contemplating gun purchase
Maybe it's just my new home state getting under my skin (West Virginia). Maybe it's just all these gun-oriented journal postings I've been reading lately. But I'm thinking maybe I should get a gun. Should I get a gun?
I actually live in a safer environment now than I did the first 38 years of my life. But I'm more secluded and spend a lot of time alone at night. I used to think that 911 would save me (I know, I know). That would definitely not be the case here in WV. The addressing situation is really screwed up and you're lucky if they can even find you. The only reason I can get pizza delivered on a Saturday night is because I live in an actual subdivision, but I STILL have to give directions to everyone I call for ANYthing.
Anyway. If any of you gun folk are reading my journal. Tell me. Should I get a gun? Just fer safety?
