Jaquelyn Mitchard- Christmas Present
I listened to this Audio CD... It hit a bit close to home-- My sister's husband had a near miss with an aneurysm-like event. It was a quick listen-- even unabridged. It made me think about what is important-- but in a hollow sort of way. It was not nearly as emotional as I thought it would be. The real-life experience overshadowed the book version and I was not connected to the characters in as meaningful a way. I was criticizing the actions in my head as I listened.
