The only nice story I have about the GP was a few years ago.
I was working with Sexy Olga at the Farmers Market. Grandma pulled into the parking lot with the beast. Olga exclaimed, "Oh! Look at that car. Very sexy!" I googled at her and started laughing. "That's my grandma's car!" I told her.
"Well," she said, "It is very big and sexy. I would like to date someone with a car like that."
So there you have it. 70s GPs get the ladies! Just not this lady ;)
You know me. I'm so so picky about cars. I can't afford what I would like, but if something came around for 8k or under I would definlty look at it. :)
What are you doing there, or is this packing for tomorrow day? I thought you would be on your way to Cascadia. Weather sounds like it should for the norm. Barometer close to the standard 29.95, not much wind and probably seasonal temperatures. From the looks of home you are coming back to the norm for there too. Clouds, some rain, highs 50 and lows 40.
Which brings me to my thought - boring weather can be good. This is sort of like moderation in all things, including the weather. It would mean that you should be able to count on the weather not screwing up your ride, leave that to the airline.
How goes the trip? I heard that your weather was returning to normal. Hope you are sitting by the pool and not having to worry about coming home with web feet because of the rain.

Well Mrs_White is doing really well. Gravespinner has just taken her to buy more baby clothes. This kid is going to be so well dressed. Well the weather isn't that great here, it's raining again. It started last night and the sun will not be back until the weekend. Gravespinner didn't get to golf this morning.
We are off to the desert on Sunday where I will only be able to buy grocery's! I wonder what they have at the flea market hmmm...
