If there is one thing that makes me madder that than mad it’s hypocrisy. I cannot stand it when someone goes on about something being wrong, when all the time their hands are just as dirty. I have listened to British media reports this week about the shooting of an innocent Brazilian man by Metropolitan ppolice office, and have become so incensed by the Brazilian Government’s attitude I can barely speak. Before I move on let me say that it is utterly tragic that, like so many other innocent people in London, this man has been caught up in the terrorist attacks and their aftermath. Of course it is awful that he has lost his life.
However, the Brazilian Government is threatening to sue the police because of his wrongful killing. Apparently they are shocked because the British police have always had a high reputation in Brazil and have even visited to give training to Brazilian police. Clearly then some of the Brazilian police force’s methods have rubbed off onto the British Bobby. The Brazilian government claims this couldn’t happen there.
I HAVE ONLY THIS TO SAY:
BRAZIL - STOP YOUR POLICE SHOOTING STREET CHILDREN BEFORE YOU CRITICISE OUR POLICE FORCE
. WE HAVE A SPECK IN OUR EYE - GET THE PLANK OUT OF YOUR OWN EYE BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH.
