Today, I came home to discover this:
R.I.P Wanda
December 21, 2001- January 15, 2007
Well children, I think it's the end of an era. My fish died Monday. I had her longer than I've had my nephew around. She came into my life as a Christmas gift from Erin Schwindenhammer (sp?), Sarah Whetstone (sp?), and Robin Rosenburger (sp?). She lived in my room for a long time, but when I went away to college, she moved to the back of my parents toilet so they remembered to feed her. She is a fish with attitude and a strong will. Her two sisters Love and Faith left her fairly early in life. Wanda renamed her self from Hope to Wanda (as a stage name.) No longer shall she splash water on unsuspecting victims that do not show her love when they pee in my bathroom.
On a much more happy note:
I got a call from Al and Wendy last night while I was at Kelly's goodbye party. We decided to meet for drinks at One World since I haven't seen them in almost a year. I missed them both so much! I got big hugs and lovin' from both of them. We caught up on fun times and talked about cars and various events in our life.... many of a funny nature. I've planned a trip either right before or right after spring break... depending... so I can spend a weekend with them. That was a very happy day.
I tried to get ahold of Animal, but I don't think she got my message in time. **sadness** So... hmmm... other than that, my bunny is spending time with her favorite Drew and I'm at my parents so I can work the Cheetah Girls show tomorrow. I can't wait to get back to Macomb. I miss her. Especially now I'm down a pet... I need to smother her with affection.
