Well, I know I can't leave and I'm living with a woman that hates me. I'm told there's more, but I'm not sure I can handle it at the moment.

There are two kinds of people in the town. There are people like you and me that remember an existence outside the town. And then there are drones, who act like the town is exactly as it seems and hold fast to the roles assigned them.
