moving on
bought a truck... a 1988 toyota 4runner.
i was tired of throwing money into my car only to see no results... hopefully with an additional vehicle, i can still get myself places and take care of things while i take my time and try to diagnose my cars problems a little better rather than stressing out about not having a running vehicle and throwing parts at it. i DO miss driving my car.
so far the truck seems fine. it stank like 30 years of cigarette smoke and had a bunch of coffee or some other liquid spilled inside of it making it gross and rendering some of the switches in the center console useless, so i spent most of yesterday cleaning it out and repairing some minor things. it doesnt need anything to run (other than the shocks i already replaced), and the motor sounds good. 4-wheel drive seems to work, but i have yet to fully test it [and celebrate by driving up into the nevada hills and shooting guns... yeah!].
...plus, now i can go on off-road adventures out in the desert!!
