the car still has issues...

list of things recently accomplished on my vehicle:

- replaced timing belt, and even had to reset the timing because i messed it up in the process... this was probably the job i have been most scared of doing. glad i dont have to pay someone $300 to do it now!
- replaced water pump, my second most feared job so far... unfortunately, there is still a leak, so i am going to have to take it apart again and see if i can figure out whats going on.
- replaced thermostat housing
- replaced coolant temp sensors
- replaced intake air temp sensor
- replaced road speed sensor
- replaced fuel pump relay
- replaced combi-valve having to deal with my emissions system
- replaced pretty much all vacuum lines
- replaced oil cooler gasket (small oil leak before)
- replaced any and all gaskets i encountered
- replaced other accessory belts
- replaced spark plugs
- replaced o2 sensors
- replaced pcv valve w/ grommets and hoses
- cleaned throttle body and most of air intake, including intake manifold
- checked and/or cleaned anything else i could think of

...other things the [bad?] mechanic did before i drove to the desert this past summer:
- replaced mass air flow sensor (looks and seems fine, no codes... old one Now broken)
- replaced ignition coil (i still have old one)
- replaced ignition switch
- replaced starter
- replaced computer (i still have the old one)

- I replaced my crankshaft position sensor and fuel pressure regulator at this time as well.

...Now... on cold starts, my car seems to run fine, idles fine, drives fine (everything seems fine except for the leaking water)... after driving for a bit and the car reaches normal operating temperatures, the car will stall while at slow speeds, slowing to turn, or coming to a stop. the stall is somewhat slow to actually kill the engine, and it sputters until for whatever reason the engine finally cuts out. Stepping on the gas pedal usually has no effect while this is happening, except for when stall symptoms begin (before full effect), where depressing the gas pedal makes it stall worse. after the car stalls for the first time, it will start up again - sometimes it idles, then stalls when put into gear, sometimes it stalls while idling; either way, it wont run correctly until it cools down... after a few hours, after the car cools down, the process starts all over again.

ideas? comments??
im beginning to brew up some new theories, but dont want to influence others'.
