working... day 11.
the lift i was going to work yesterday ended up getting put on maintenance hold. i was told to take the morning off (if i wanted) and went snowboarding with a couple other lift ops who also got the morning off. i had a blast... there was plenty of fresh snow, and the weather ended up being the best that it was all day. it was my 3rd day riding this year, and ive started getting comfortable with it again... jumping off stuff (and landing), speeding, and of course, the technical tree runs.
i got to work a lift that i had been wanting to work for a while... its an "advanced only" lift, so everyone knows what theyre doing, which makes the job easier, quieter and more relaxed than most other lifts.
it snowed a bunch during the day, and i almost couldnt get my car out of the parking lot. i was glad to see the road had been plowed.
even though i got to have some fun yesterday, im starting to feel a bit burnt out on work... im hoping we get a 'bad weather' day with black rock solar sometime this week... even my laundry and car want me to take a day off.
