Okay, first things first. I'm going for my mathematics degree, and I figure I'll get the teaching certificate or minor in education. I think its better to have that fall back status. Second, if you want a second job for the summer, and you don't mind the hours, try your local mall for nightstocking or morning stocking. Usually, its a three to four hour shift a couple nights/mornings of the week, so you'll make around 40 bucks a week. Not much, but it is an extra chunk of change in your pocket. I know, I did it at the Disney store for a few months. Third, while I enjoy the company and love of my g/f, it is nice to not have another person to worry about/buy things for. Wait to see if you can get more established in school and your personal life (car, job, etc) before going for the girl. Unless she's really cool, and is prepared to deal with somebody who is going to be very busy and running a tight budget. I don't say this to mean that women are shallow and looking only for money, but it is nice to be able to get them stuff or take them out once in a while.
