Picked up the complete Last Exile for $30 about a week or so ago. Still need to re-watch it; I'm getting into the habit of buying anime at lower-than-normal prices and not watching them. Not a good habit.
Got a PSP, carrying case, and two games for $30 on Monday. There were actually three games, but one apparently doesn't work. Had to shell out for a charger, and I still need a memory stick. But at least I'll be prepared when the Final Fantasy Tactics remake comes out.
Last Saturday, my friend picked up my bill for dinner. Granted, I had spotted him earlier when he was broke, but if you think I'm going to just take it for granted, you'd be wrong.
Other than that, I more or less got demoted on my job for rather petty reasons that could have been completely remedied. I also got (another) rejection letter from a job I had applied for that would have gotten me out of my financial rut.
Oh, and did you hear that Geneon is no longer in business? I hope you did. Better pick up their titles ASAP, because until someone gets around to acquiring the rights (which could take years) to all of their good shows, they're just going to be gone. That is, for those of you who care about buying new. If you want used, then there's nothing to fear.
