Yesterday was the seventh anniversary of hide's death. I did my usual celebration of listening to all of his music that I could get my hands on. I also signed the petition to keep the hide museum open, for what it's worth.
Today I am done with finals. If my grades are not as expected, I will be done with finals for a very, very, very indefinite period of time. I have yet to decide whether or not I'll petition for readmission to UMKC if I'm given the boot, or if I'll attempt to commute to a local community college (which is a notorious hassle to say the least) and then petition for readmission.
A-Kon situation is still, unfortunately, extremely tenuous. I'm hoping to be able to go, using the excuse that I can get away with a five-day trip by spending only $180. I'll give that logic a go a bit later on in the week, I think. Most of that money will be going towards the bus ticket. $20 goes to the D'espairsRay concert. An unspecified portion goes to Tekichi for tasty fermented/distilled beverages in glass bottles. The rest will be for food. I should be able to squeak by pretty easily.
I had steak for the first time in quite a while on Saturday. Good, juicy rib steak. Pork chops ensued on Sunday, and were also excellent due to the fact that they were thick-cut.
Currently looking for more profitable employment. The first acutal application I actually picked up was for another grocery store, though I'm loath to actually fill it out. I think I'll try a gas station instead.
Life....is okay, I suppose. Could be a hell of a lot better, but it could also be worse.
Oh yeah, I'm a mod now on Heroes of Ivalice, the Final Fantasy Tactics-based sim I play on. Mostly, I read every last post that's ever been made. I'm, what, two days into the job? Not a whole lot to do just yet.
